ECF Memorial Fund
Your gift to the ECF Memorial Fund not only supports emerging and priority needs in the greater Edmonton community, but does so on a permanent ongoing basis.
ECF prudently invests gifts to this fund as a pool through independent investment managers. Each year 4% of the fund value is granted (this percentage is reviewed regularly). It doesn’t take very long for the fund to grant the full amount of the original gifts and become stronger than ever to provide multiples of that support over generations to come. The power of endowment is felt over time and creates a permanent legacy.
Grants are made from this fund accessing the deep community knowledge of ECF’s board, staff and advisory committees to support charitable activities in the arts, culture and heritage, education and learning, health and wellness, community and social services, recreation and leisure, and the environment.
