Jasper Hospitality Fund
Edmonton Community Foundation will work with the Banff Canmore Foundation, the local municipalities and other local charities to distribute funds to groups that are able to provide support to the hospitality sector.
JASPER HOSPITALITY FUND
We are all in mourning. To witness the destruction of the Jasper wildfire is heartbreaking. To every Jasper resident and the first responders who are risking their lives; we stand with you.
The entire community of Jasper is still evacuated, in shock and coming to grips with the loss and devastation.
Many are hospitality workers, including contract, casual and foreign workers who come to Jasper to work during its bustling summer tourism season. Not only have many lost their homes and their jobs, many have little to no local financial or emotional support. We think it’s vital to get money into their hands to help them rebuild their lives in Jasper and area or provide a way home.

WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER
YEG Hospitality for Jasper is a group of Edmonton-based hospitality professionals, chefs and restaurateurs who partnered with the Edmonton Community Foundation to create flow-through donations specifically to support Jasper’s tourism and hospitality community. By combining efforts and resources, our fellow hospitality peers will get the assistance they need. Even a small event (pop-up or product sale) can raise a lot of money.
